COVID-19 UPDATE

We are still taking orders and filling them on schedule even during the Covid-19 crisis. Rest assured that we are creating products and operating from a healthy and Covid-19 free environment. Please allow for longer shipping times as the USPS experiences longer than expected delivery times. 

 

Q: What are the current processing times?

A: We are shipping out orders in 3-5 business days. Please allow more time for bulk orders since these are made to order. Currently we are not experiencing any processing time delays due to Covid-19, but please be aware that USPS is experiencing shipping delays on some orders.

 

Q: What is the estimated shipping time?

A: Due to the Covid-19 crisis, many shipping estimates are extended. We ship all orders USPS. First class mail is estimated to arrive in 2-5 days, and Priority Shipping in 2-4 days. Overnight upgrades also available. 

 

Q: Where are you shipping from?

We ship from Massachusetts. 

 

Q: What size cards fit best in the wire stands?

A: Most table number stands are designed to hold cards or card stock paper goods size 5x7 or smaller. The place card stands are best for card stock size 4x6 or smaller. Larger or thicker pieces increase the risk of not standing upright.

 

Q: Is each wire piece identical?

A: We do our absolute best to keep designs looking uniform, but because all our creations are handmade, each piece is unique and may differ slightly in form and/or size. Also, items ordered at different times may not match exactly in color and size as previous items orders.

 

Q: Are the wire pieces easily adjustable?

A: Yes. In order to design our handmade items, we use an aluminum wire which is pliable. Items can change shape if not handled with care, but they can also be shaped back to the original design with very little effort when necessary. Please keep in mind that each piece is handmade to order so no two items are exactly the same, but we work hard to make everything uniform in design.

 

Q: Can your card holders be used outdoors?

A: Since the wire is lightweight, outdoor use is not recommended. 

 

Q: Is every birch log identical?

A: No, but that is the way nature intended it to be! There could be anything that would typically be a part of a natural birch tree, including knots, dark spots, small imperfections, cracks, and some peeling bark on your candle. We believe that is what makes it so special! Slight shifted may occur over time, so its best to store your log with a candle and in a well ventilated area. 

 

Q: Is the birch wood treated with anything?

A: Our birch logs are not sealed but are all sprayed with a fire-proofing spray prior to customization in order to be safe around the candles. 

 

Q: Is it safe to burn the candles in the birch logs?

A: All our birch logs candle holders are treated with a fire-proofing spray so they are safe around the candles. JV Country Creations recommends the use of LED tea light candles whenever possible. If wax candles are used do your part to prevent fire and serious injury by burning candles within sight. Keep away from drafts and vibrations. Keep out of the reach of children and animals

 

Q: Where are the birch logs harvested from?

A: We harvest our all natural white birch logs from Northern Maine. 

 

Q: How is the customization written on the birch candles?

A: Each birch candle can be customized with two initials separated with a "+" and a date below, all written inside a heart with an arrow going through it. To ensure the best spacing, there will not be any preceding zeros for the date. If there is no date included for customization, just the two initials will be centered in the heart. 

 

Q: How do I indicate the initials and date I need on my order?

A: At checkout, please leave a comment in the "Add a note to your order" box after you add the product to your cart. 

 

Q: Can you customize size and style of your products?

A: Special orders for different sizes and styles are welcome! Please send an email to JVCountryCreations@gmail.com to start planning you next custom order.

 

Q: Can you do custom orders for something I don't see?

A: Yes! Feel free to send an email to JVCountryCreations@gmail.com if you wish to make a custom order. 

 

Q: Do you take returns?

A: It is important to us that you are completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are unhappy with your product, please contact us. We will be happy to work with you to reach a satisfactory resolution. Custom order returns are at the discretion of JV Country Creations. Please be aware that the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs and the original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Also for orders over $35.00, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from refund amount. Returns must be made within 14 days from the day the package was received. All of our products are hand made to order so no two items are exactly the same, but we work hard to make sure that every customer is satisfied with their purchase.

 

Q: Do you offer bulk discounts?
